Lester Dean Alspach
Lester Dean Alspach, 97, of Wilmore, Kentucky passed away on October 15, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1924, to the late Lester Irvin Alspach and Melrose Bergman. Lester served in the Army as a Second Lieutenant during World War II for 32 months. Dean was renowned for his piano playing and provided great entertainment to many. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first and second wives, Terry Kennet, and Constance Alspach. He is survived by his six children, Terrell Kennet, Bob Kennet, Will Kennet, Andrea Kennet, Mitzi Charlebois, and Nancy Alspach. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Betty Newman; and all of his friends from Welsey Village in Wilmore and his AA group. A graveside service will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 2:30 PM. Donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Wesley Village, or any addiction recovery organization. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road is in charge of arrangements.
