Teresia Marie (Beach) McArthur

Teresia Marie (Beach) McArthur passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 64 from breast cancer. Teresia lived with her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids in Versailles, KY. She was raised in Crittenden, KY and graduated from Grant County High School.
Teresia was a beautiful singer, played several musical instruments, and was tremendously creative. Throughout her life, she enjoyed partaking in photography, ceramics, scrapbooking, jewelry-making, and sewing.
She graduated from Morehead State University and had several credits towards a Master’s degree. Teresia was a natural caregiver and had several jobs within the healthcare system. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Cave Run Clinic in Morehead, KY, a Financial Administrator for UK Student Health Services, Cancer Center Administrator at the Markey Cancer Center, Regional Manager for the Little Clinic, Medications Coordinator at Stewart Home School in Frankfort, and worked at Capital Medical Group in the Billing Department at the time of her passing. Other careers she had included Grants and Contracts Specialist for Morehead State University and Wallace’s Bookstores. Teresia had several friends across these years of her life that she kept in touch with.
An extremely loving and devoted mother and Nana, Teresia valued spending time and making everyday memories with her daughter and grandchildren. She loved to laugh and make others smile. She was a loyal friend, great listener, and gave the best hugs.
Teresia joins her mother, Glenna Beach, and brother, Greg Beach, in heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Rudisell (Brandon); sisters, Cindy Applegate, Rhonda Caldwell (Kevin), and Melinda Horton (Stan); father, Ronald Beach (Louise); and grandchildren, Parker & Charlotte.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 pm at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road The private burial will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:00 am in Dry Ridge, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Teresia’s name and schedule a mammogram.
