Dr. Bobby W. Burchette
He will be honored in a virtual ceremony TBD. His ashes will be scattered privately by his immediate family along Indian Fort Trail, a special place for Bobby and Chris. He will always live in the hearts and minds of his family and friends who loved him, the many colleagues with whom he worked, and the countless students he mentored and taught. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 12:30pm – 1:00pm at Second Presbyterian Church: 460 E. Main St. Lexington, KY 40507. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm on Sunday at the church with Pastor John Leggett officiating. Burial will be at 10am Monday, October 18 at the Lexington Cemetery. Pallbearers include Adam Downing, Ron Garnett, Sean Garnett, Will Stafford, Scott Walz, Chris Workman. Mr. Benjamin Franklin Gross II
Benjamin Franklin Gross II, 90, died Saturday, October 9, 2021, preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Catherine Gross. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of the late Orville and Maggie Gross. He was retired from Gross Distributing, a graduate of Bell Co. High School and a member of Clays Mill Church of God. Survivors are his two sons, Gary Gross (wife Diahann) and Benny Gross (wife Sonya), three granddaughters, Zara Nathanson (Rob), and Ashtin Gross, and Gabby Gross, one grandson, Alexander Gross and two great granddaughters Romilly and Briar Nathanson. Graveside service at Resthaven Cemetery in Baxter, KY on Saturday, Oct 16, 2021 at 11:30am.
