Funeral Time: Friday, July 6th at 11:00AM
Franklin, Freeman Sylvester, 79, passed away on Monday July 2, 2012 after a short illness. He was a beautiful man who loved his family, life, friends, and church. He leaves to mourn his wife Ruth, of 23 years; his children, Freeman, Jr., Felita, Charles, Theresa, Antonio, Marshan, and his 5 step-children. He is also survived by his brothers, Cardell and Louis, and his sisters, Dorothy, Alberta and Annie. He will be missed by a host of grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church with Father Norman Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 till 11am at the church. Memorials are suggested to St Peter Claver Catholic Church Building Fund, 410 Jefferson St., Lexington, KY 40508. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd is in charge of arrangements.
