Edward G. Bales
Funeral Time: Friday, June 15th at 7:00PM
BALES, Edward G., 82, husband of nearly 60 years to Cecelia Bales, died Tues. June 12, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born April 27, 1930 in Sullivan, IN, he was the son of the late Caleb Edward and Anita Belle Moore Bales. Mr. Bales was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from IBM. He was a Free Mason and a member of Beaumont Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter, Vicky Lea Bales; his son, Michael (Paige) Bales; one granddaughter, Kaitlin Bales; one grandson, Cameron Bales, all of Lexington, KY; and a sister, Norel Lea Hayden, Indianapolis, IN. A memorial service will be held 7 pm Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Rev. Susan Warren with visitation beginning at 6 pm until the service. An additional service by Masonic Lodge #1 will be held at 7:45 pm Fri. Burial will take place at a later date in Indiana.
