KEY, Doris Richardson, 95, passed away Thurs., May 10, 2012 at Northpoint Health Care in Lexington. Doris was born Nov. 10, 1916 in Font Hill, KY. This remarkable lady grew up in Russell County and professed faith at an early age. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and working in her flower garden. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Fannie Richardson; brothers, Ralph Richardson, Royce Richardson and Omega Richardson; sister-in-law, Kate Richardson; and brother-in-law, Virgil Guess. She is survived by her sister, Marie Guess, Louisville, KY; sisters-in-law, Magola Richardson and Helen Richardson; also many nieces, nephews, and other family members, special friends, and neighbors. She also leaves behind her four footed friend, Buddy who will miss her dearly. Doris was a treasured aunt and friend whose life story is a testament to her work ethic and zest for life. She will be missed by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Mon. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Minister Ronnie Hupp. Visitation will be 10:30 am Mon. until the service time at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Lexington Cemetery Mausoleum.
