Jackson, Lenora Cox, 73, wife of Buford Lyons, passed away Sun April 29, 2012. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late C.C. and Augusta Lee McCullough. Lenora was a member of the Nathanial Mission. Survivors other than her husband include three sons, Russell Cox, Michael Cox, and Johnny Cox; one sister-in-law, Ella McCullough, three grandchildren, Shawn T. Cox, Jill (Terry) Barnes, and Joey Vanover; three great grandchildren, Thomas Barnes, Nathan Barnes, and Abbie Barnes; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one son, Ike Cox, and eight brothers, James Thomas McCullough, Fred McCullough, Harold McCullough, Woodrow McCullough, Henry McCullough, Bobby McCullough, James Edward McCullough and Elwood McCullough. Services will be held 12pm Thurs at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main Street. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
