Harold Lee Hunter, 88, husband of 64 years to Marion Hunter, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at his residence. Born in Nicholasville, he was a son of the late James and Ruth Snowden Hunter. He was retired from IBM and was a WW II Navy veteran. Survivors other than his wife are a son, Lee Hunter Jr. (Beth); two daughters, Sharon Lane Hunter and Jere Denise Hunter; four grandchildren, Daniel Hunter, Maggie Hunter, Andrew Head and Matthew Hunter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Hunter. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504 or the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
