Steven "Randy" May

MAY, Steven “Randy”, 59, husband of Judy Hammond May, died Wed. April 11, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born April 17, 1952 in Paintsville, KY, he was the son of the late Marvin and Ruby Irene Boyd May. Randy was employed for 27 years at UPS and member of Liberty Road Community Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and choir member. He was a good Christian man that loved his family dearly and was loved by others. Randy had a tremendous sense of humor and loved life. He was an avid sportsman. Survivors include a daughter, Brittany (Wes) Allen; a son, Brandon May, both of Lexington; a granddaughter, Alyssa; two brothers, Timothy May and Wayne (Sharon) May, both of Prestonsburg, KY; a sister, Trudy Hamilton, Lexington, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 noon Sat. at Liberty Road Community Church, 2734 Liberty Road, Lexington, KY 40505 by Rev. Jim Hensley. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 Fri. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. and 10 am Sat. until service time at the church.
