Frances Hollan Sprecher

Frances Hollan Sprecher, 63, was born Jan. 2, 1947 to the late Pryce and Oda Hollan. She went home to be with Jesus our Savior on July 28, 2010, after a sudden brief illness. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Raymond L. Sprecher, a sister, Gayle Charlene Hollan, and two nieces Sheila Renee Hollan and Frances Gayle Hollan. Those who were blessed to know her knew her children, grandchildren and pets were her life. She is survived by five children, Sandy Sprecher (Willie Stone), Missy (Tony) Estep, Kim (Steve) Johnson, Michele (Dave) Sallee, and Raymond Sprecher; four siblings, Eli Hollan, Faye (Ronnie) Crest, Edward (Sharon) Hollan, and Jeffrey (Vicki) Hollan; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Kayla, Ashley, Megan, Autumn, Lauren, Connor, and Shelby; one great-grandchild, Zaya Faith Sprecher; four beloved pets, three dogs, Zoey, Chloe, Shaggy, and one cat, Smokey; as well as many other friends and family members. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road by Pastor Brian Bolton. Entombment will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
