Thelma Gertrude Karrick Bartlett, 97, widow of George Clayton Bartlett, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at Pine Meadows Health Care. Born in Salt Lick, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Karrick. She was a retired nurse and a member of First Christian Church. Survivors are two daughters, Patricia B. (James) Shope and Caroline Hunt; grandchildren; sister, Virginia Wheeler, Morehead; a brother, Hugh Karrick, Salt Lick. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Jean (Hedgie) Fryman, an infant son, Tommy, nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.
