Betty Jean Standish

Standish, Betty Jean Mee, 58, wife of B.J. Standish, went to be with the Lord on Sun. July 25, 2010. Born April 28, 1952 in Middletown, OH, she was the daughter of the late Paul Leslie and Ruby Carpenter Mee. Mrs. Standish was a devoted wife, mother and sister. Survivors other than her husband include a daughter, Rachael Standish (Chris) Head, Lexington; a son, Ryan John Standish; a sister, Sheila Mee Powers, Kalamazoo, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mee Hitch. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Thurs. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Pastor Darrell Messer. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Wed. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O.
