Adam Puckett
Funeral Time: Wednesday, July 14th at 1:00PM
Puckett, Adam Thomas, 25, of Lexington, son of Tommy and Karen Ball Puckett, passed away Thurs. July 8, 2010 in Lexington. He was born Sept. 15, 1984. He was a graduate of Henry Clay High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Adam was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marines and served in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. During his service in the military he received the Combat Action Ribbon, Iraq Campaign Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NATO Medal ISAF Afghanistan, Meritorious Mast, Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and SMCR Medal. Besides his parents he is survived by his grandmothers, Joyce Ashley Puckett and Jessie Ruth Ball both of Lexington; several aunts, uncles and cousins and the brothers of the 1/3 Bravo Company, 2nd Platoon, Unit 44025 (Lava Dawgs). He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Orville Puckett and Dennis Eugene Ball. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wed. at Immanuel Baptist Church by Chaplin Donovan Stewart with full military honors to follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues. from 5:00 til 9:00 pm at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home Harrodsburg Road and after 12:00 pm Wed. at the church. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Puckett Jr., Darrell Puckett, Trivor Puckett, Hunter Puckett, Caleb Shelton and fellow Lava Dawgs.
