Daniel Tomer
Daniel E. Tomer II, 58, beloved husband of Nicole Stewart Tomer, died April 26, 2010 at the UK Chandler Hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1952 in Bolivar, Ohio to the late Lillian J. and Daniel Edward Tomer. Survivors include his wife; a sister, Kathy Tomer, Strasburg, OH; a daughter, Tiffany (William) Brownfield, East Sparta, OH; a son, Shawn Tomer, Massillon, OH. Dan is also survived by his granddaughter, Trinity Brownfield, as well as former spouse, Dianne Smith, Massillon, OH. Dan was blessed with very good friends, Roger Nipper and James Douglas, and many others who worked with him at the Bluegrass Army Depot. The family has requested that there be no service or visitation. Dan loved his animals, Smokey Kitty and Elly Mae, and would appreciate any donations be made in his honor to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
