Lloyd Roberts
Lloyd Edward Roberts, 95, widower of Ann Harris Roberts and Sue Mason Roberts, passed away after a short illness at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Berea, he was the son of the late Edward and Amelia Roberts. Lloyd was an insurance agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance and a WW II Navy veteran. He attended Berea College and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Civil War Round Table, the Lexington Club, former member of the Idle Hour Country Club, the Little Club in Delray Beach, Florida, the Lexington Bridge Club and was a multiple life master bridge player. He is survived by two sons, Larry S. Roberts (Kathy), Lexington, and Lloyd Douglas Roberts (Tara), Baltimore; grandchildren, Katie Thibault (Bruce), Andy Roberts (Angela), Hilary King (Byron), Amy McLoughlin (Andrew) and Brooke Roberts (Jennifer); and 10 great-grandchildren. His family greatly appreciates the many individuals who provided professional care, particularly those at Richmond Place. Services will be private.
