Ruth Quisenberry

Ruth C. Quisenberry, 79, of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly March 6, 2010. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, James and Mamie Campbell, four sisters, Christine Thomas, Jewell Tinsley, Mary Morton and Helene Johnston, two brothers, James and Charles Campbell. She was a 1948 graduate of Dunbar High School and was retired from the VA Hospital. Survivors are one sister, Alma (William) Franklin; one son, Steven Campbell; one daughter, Helena Russell; three grandchildren, Steven, Kristye and Kristyn Russell; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Preston Russell; a special cousin, Stella (Isaac) Hayes; nieces, Mary C. Thomas, Betty Ann Young, Jewell Harris and Tammy Terry; nephews, Clarence Morton and Jimmy Morton; and her special gran-puppy, Satch; and extended family. We will miss you, forever in our hearts. Services 12 p.m. Wednesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday. Contributions are suggested to the Markey Cancer Center.
