Sally Hamilton
Sally S. Hamilton, 80, widow of Anthony Hamilton, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Chicago, IL. She was a homemaker and involved in the throughbred industry, having been one of the first women licensed at a paramutual racetrack and was the first woman licensed at Keeneland. Survivors are two daughters, Cathy (Wayne) Sweezey and Barbara (Terry) Arnold, both of Lexington; a grandson, James Roe; three granddaughters, Alex Arnold, Sarah Coode and Emily Hamilton; and a brother, Bill Simpson, Oakpark, IL.
